Fellow skeptics,
 
In light of the increasing spread of COVID-19, and the need to practice social distancing, I have hereby decided to cancel all Canberra Skeptics events for the foreseeable future. Once it is deemed safe to do so, we will resume the talks at the earliest possible time.
 
This is incredibly disappointing but there is no other safe decision. You can still get your skeptical fix from the many wonderful skeptical podcasts available and I encourage you to share as many of these as possible. 
 
Already scammers and cranks are beginning to emerge from their vile swamp, so please rely on reputable sources for information regarding COVID-19 such as the Department of Health (https://www.health.gov.au/).
